Women vs. Men: It's not Fair!
61
Women
1. Shower: Use body wash, face wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Make sure to shave.
2. Apply deodorant, body lotion, and body spray or perfume. Brush teeth.
3. Select outfit and iron if necessary; get dressed and put on shoes (I'm not even going to get into all the different clothing options.)
4. Apply moisturizer, concealer, foundation, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and lipstick or lip gloss. Optional: bronzer, highlighter, lash curler, or sunscreen
5. Straighten or Curl hair as desired (needed: straigtener, curling iron, or hot rollers). Optional: Mousse, gel, or hairspray
Men
1. Shower: use 2-in-1 hair and body wash. Wash face and shave if needed.
2. Put on deodorant and cologne. Brush teeth. Comb hair or rub your hands through it.
2. Throw on a T-shirt and jeans, polo and khakis, or a suit. Put on appropriate shoes.
3. Wait around for the woman to get ready.

Thanks for the chuckle. So true.
Since I don't go out to work anymore, I don't bother with half of that stuff. I've even gotten so I go to the store without makeup! I may look like an old fuddy duddy, but I don't care...
I think that all the effort a woman goes through is proof that in general, society accepts men at face value but not women. If every woman woke up one day and said to themselves, today I will go out just as me, then maybe all the stereotypes about women and how they should look would stop....Just musing here! But really true hub though! I know men who just roll out of bed and no one says anything really!
Fun read. Some of the things women do are really simply pressure from society,me thinks ,be yourself.
haha this is funny
i don't even shower in the morning... thats 1 less thing to do
Well, my girlfriend and I have a male friend who is gay and he takes longer than my girlfriend to get ready! Great post, funny!
it was never meant to be fair. but women have to step it up. :)
I read somewhere that two female coworkers who wore differing levels of make up usually, decided to run a secret test.
The coworker who usually wore a lot of make up, didn't wear any. Other ppl in the office said: Maybe she's feeling sick.
The coworker who didn't usually wear a lot of make up did wear a lot of it on that day. Other ppl in the office said: Maybe she's feeling sick.
I'm not sure what this proves.
(Maybe it does prove that to some extent people get used to the way ppl look...)
YW.
Re. humorous, it is.
Re. true: I don't know how true it is; I just read it some place.
But it at least SOUNDS true... :)
Just reading again what you wrote: 'Apply moisturizer, concealer, foundation, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and lipstick or lip gloss. Optional: bronzer, highlighter, lash curler, or sunscreen'
If you do all these things, it sure must take you a real long time!
Blessings.
Anyway, my wife doesn't do ALL this. But she doesn't feel dressed if she goes out without 'putting on her face', coloring with a lot of powder.
Blessings.
Ha ha - this is just too cute but oh so true... yeah - it really isnt' fair is it!

Why is it necessary for women to do the things in the women's list? Why don't they just use the men's list?
