Lighterature: A Poem
61
Open a book and take a look,
To find endless worlds abound,
Knights, pirates, and aliens,
Come alive without a sound.
The words conspire to inspire,
I see them gather on weathered pages,
Once upon a time is where it all begins,
Present fades as time stops for all ages.
All journeys end after twisted paths bend,
Usually happily ever after meets you there,
The turning stops and all paper must rest,
Just close the book and quietly stare.
