By Ebower

With everyone's budget getting tighter and tighter these days, coupons are having a moment. Even TLC is propelling this economical trend as it recently created a show called 'Extreme Couponing' featuring Joanie Demer, 'The Krazy Coupon Lady'. As people dive into this resourceful hobby, they might find that its worthwhile even if hours are spent dumpster diving, saving, and organizing these little pieces of paper that could turn into hundreds of dollars. To save some time, and money, here are some places online to help with your crazy coupon expedition.  These include sites that provide printable coupons and also ones in which you can sign up for mobile coupons.  These can be directly scanned from your cell phone at the checkout.  With a little time and effort, you can can get more for your money.  Happy saving!

My wife is a real expert in saving coupons!

Over a period, I guess you do save quite a bit.

Blessings.

You're fortunate that she is! I'm not sure I have the patience to be a huge saver with coupons. It does take time and dedication in order to save big bucks.

Just looking at your comment again, I guess it's not so much a question of big bucks, not all at once, anyway. More likely a whole incremental series of small savings, which - together - can eventually add up. Blessings.

You are correct. It seems like for most these days, every little penny counts!

Well, why not keep a jar, into which you put all your cents and nickels. Trust me: it soon mounts up! Blessings.

That's a good idea! In fact, I made the same point in my hub about saving. I don't often have change, because I use my debit card a lot to pay, but when I do, I often save it in a special glass jar.

Well, I guess you can be glad that there is enough in your a/c for the debit card to work lol. I'm more of a cash person, though. Blessings.

True! Thank you, God for my part-time job and parents that help me out when they can. I've heard it's actually better to pay in cash; that way you can notice how much you are really spending.

Cash = self-discipline and control over money. (Quote me!) Blessings.
